RE: Who bought the 47 million.,,Been thinking about a buyout lately.
Just kind of speculating about who would be a good fit for IOM and with the strange number of shares trading hands lately it kind of makes me wonder if maybe IOM is in play.

With a market cap that is around 300 mil over this years revenue it seems that IOM is really cheep here. I think that they could be had for 2 to 2.5 times revenue.

( between 4 to 4.5 bil, $20 to $25 per share ).

I would rule out any of the box makers, I don't think that the other box makers would continue supporting the zip drive if it belonged to one of their competitors.
I believe that even though there were other shortcomings with the ls-120 they were marked down for being a Compaq associated drive.

It would IMO be one of the hard drive companies surely they have seen what IOM has done to the storage industry
Other companies that wouldn't surprise me such as TI or MOT both of these companies could benefit their product mix.
I'm not sure what poison pill IOM has in place but IMO they are in a position that is enticing with a window of opportunity that won't last.

Anyone ?
