Unbelievably arrogant, and naive. Seriously, liberals unite and raise taxes in unison?

Personal income taxes and corporate taxes make no sense. Easiest, fairest, most transparent, and cheapest way to collect taxes is via a consumption (sales) tax. Everyone pays according to ability, you do not discourage savings and investment, and government overheads could be reduced.

Imagine if all the tax accountants and tax lawyers (typically bright people) had to pivot to do meaningful work and add value to society for a change :)
