Yes, I suspect that these stocks will be higher in 6 months. But I mention the following only from perspective.

GLM was pushing 36 in October 1997. Now analysts think it will get back to 32 in 1 year. That preciptious drop in 2-3 months, even to a LT investor, has gotta hurt. And it will take a year or more to retake that ground (or so they say).

You can listen to all the talk: Value this, PE that, bang the table harder...watching a 200 point "everyone except drillers" participate rally is very hard to watch. Imagine what a down day will do....

In the meantime, MSFT went from a "woe-is-me" 120 to a hearty 155 in about the same time.

In this sector, I am starting to feel like Sysiphus. It is no wonder that the magic and momentum are lost and uncertainty is back. You can trade uncertainty and make money, but I still hold core positions that are troublesome to look at.
