You've been to Radio Shack I see. <G> 150 foot range...you better stay in the house with the notebook. And have an average size house. I have a couple 900MHz remote phones I use on the job site, they claim they'll work up to 1000 feet from the base unit - 300 feet is the best we do. The idea is good but I have my doubts.
