I'd agree with you, if and only if foreign exchange, fund transfers (esp. out of the country), and other financial services are taxed as part of service consumption.

Years ago I proposed that corporate taxes should be replaced with banking transaction tax with heavy bias towards taxing foreign exchange. Do that and you can drop business tax to zero.
