Well, maybe tomorrow is the day I should get up before nine am. :)
Anyway, we'll see what Jobs has to say tomorrow and if any of it is made public via press release, etc. We'll see if they at least show off the new, slightly faster G3s and the new bundled G3.
The returned inventory is one of those unquantifiable problems this quarter's results will face. OTOH, maybe it won't amount to much at all. For instance, the Circuit City stores I checked out all had the pre-October 6500s, plus one low-end Apple printer. How many could each store have had? And since they obviously weren't going with the newer models, I doubt Apple had shipped them any computers for months, except for possible (small) replacement quantities.
Life with Apple is fun, isn't it?
