You may not like the dictionary definition or parts of it but I don't think you can begin to make a case that violence requires physical assault on a person.

I see no basis for that conclusion. I see no basis to conclude that Chauvin would offend again, either. These situations are one-offs. Any penalty applied would be for retribution and deterrence, not incapacitation.


You are clearly showing a double standard here.
