BAY beats the number by 2 cents and the stock dropped almost $3 dollars after the earnings release. I expect CSCO will do the same (profit taking) if they just meet the number. If they miss the number (which I don't expect to happen), then they will be crashed like ORCL in December. I think most analysts will focus on the foreward quarters. Many research papers including IDB predict some slow down in the netowrk equipments in '98, so it will be very interesting to find some clues from Cisco's earnings. just my 2 cents
