Trump supporters believed Trump, believed in Trump, and believed he was calling them to loyally help produce for him to a second term. Heck, Trump was aiming to get a third term and then, most likely, to do a Putin and effectively get a life term so that he wouldn't have to go through the trouble of another dumb election! I am quite sure that node would approve of that as well.
