Really? I think this particular female police officer did just fine:

During a routine traffic stop, after getting shot at from near point-blank range (thank GOD the perp missed), she went around the back of the perp's car and emptied her magazine. The perp took the room temperature challenge.

Her poise under deadly circumstances was awesome.
