Variants in Canada

Canada had an early outbreak of the VoC B117.
Our case rate per million has now surpassed the US.
I predict this situation will not last long as the variant ramps up infection rates in locations around the US.
Ontario just set a one day record for new infections.
We are in trouble and strict lockdowns will be coming.

I have had a first shot, my wife will get hers in the next few days.
I think people will be getting multiple vaccines, especially given the recent news from Israel (P1 vs Pfizer)
I also think we are going to hit the vaccine resistance movement much sooner than people think.
That resistance will provide a solid base of incubators for new variants.
At some point a VoHC will appear and that will be a lesson for all.
It is likely to be a very harsh lesson.
