Ukraine is where Russia started. Kiev was the greatest Russian city-state where it all started. Its Grand Duke Vladimir was the man who introduced Orthodox Christianity as Russia’s official religion. Under the Tzars, the title of Ukraine was Malorossia - smaller Russia.

What it all means is that things are so mixed together that no one really knows who is who, in both countries. You’ll be hard pressed to untangle all the millions upon millions of intermarriages over the centuries, if not millennia.

I say, let THEM do the untangling, if so their lil’ hearts desire. Do not get dragged into unnecessary stupid wars, especially dangerous ones.

As for the naval base in Sevastopol - our Obama’s DOS deep thinkers kind of forced the issue in 2014. So, it’s done.
