Deep rural living/prepper update. Superb Spring growing weather. Last frost free date 5/10 to perhaps 5/15. Plum trees already blossomed. Pears in peak blossom. Apples just starting. Mrs Patch growing tomato plants from last years saved seeds, in heated Greenhouse, Cold Frame still producing lettuce after surviving very cold late winter weather.

Today, interviewed & hired very impressive restoration & detail carpenter to take care of some exterior house items. Very intelligent, perceptive, 30 something who moved his family here from Hersey, PA. a few years ago.

Lived in 7 states in my long life & owned more than one vintage house. So know, first hand, that restoration tradesmen of this quality R hard to fine anywhere. Harder in very lo population rural areas like this.
