There are two apparent great threat categories:

1 Wild, pointless spending that is serious enough that we have the highest inflation in 11 years, and

2 Engagement with Iran who must be prevented from getting nuclear weapons at all costs. If we don't do it, Israel must. But now with China in the mix war between Israel and Iran can easily become a world war with far more serious consequences than a few dead Iranians, which is the most positive of the likely outcomes.

2a Russia and Ukraine are, to me, unknown quantities. While (2) is pretty easy to forecast, I have no idea where the Russian connection could take us. There is no good to come out of Biden's stirring the pot.
