I assume it isn't lost on you that Trump's claim was not adjudicated and reserves authority for an extremely narrow bit of leadership. I believe it is fair to say that Trump pressed his authority because someone had to do it. And it has worked out fantastically. Trump ended up getting massive quantities of of multiple vaccines in record time. He discouraged the foolish nonsense Fauci and his crew were cranking out. And while we don't know that the vaccines are solving the problem something is. He was a strong leader throughout this process and one can hardly imagine where we'd be if this incompetent fool Joe Biden had been in charge, far more people would have clearly died.
