David,

Going from memory, I got the impression that the ABAX machine's
origin is the Dade Behring machine. I didn't ask any detail, but
since the thing has been around 12 years, maybe it was off
patent or it is loosely based on the original machine.

Based on Dr. Franzblau's comments, I have lowered my projected
production cost for disks in the 2nd half of 1998 even more. It
appears that the automated machine really cuts costs. If all
goes well, ABAX could actually get to cash flow positive in late
1998 without any dilution.

I'll call ABAX in a month or so to get their view on the Dade
Behring machine, a progress update on automated machine, and
an idea of timing of new human tests.

I agree with you, it is looking cheap. Not cheap enough for me
to get in yet, but sometime soon.
