"The biological effects of graphene oxide (GO) have been extensively investigated, as it has been widely used in biological research due to its increased hydrophilicity/biocompatibility. However, the exact mechanisms underlying GO-associated lung toxicity have not yet been fully elucidated. The aim of the present study was to determine the role of GO in lung injury induction, as well as its involvement in oxidative stress, inflammation and autophagy. The results revealed that lower concentrations of GO (5 and 10 mg/kg) did not cause significant lung injury, but the administration of GO at higher concentrations (50 and 100 mg/kg) induced lung edema, and increased lung permeability and histopathological lung changes. High GO concentrations also induced oxidative injury and inflammatory reactions in the lung, demonstrated by increased levels of oxidative products [malondialdehyde(MDA) and 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine (8-OHdG)] and inflammatory factors (TNF-a, IL-6, IL-1ß and IL-8). The autophagy inhibitors 3-methyladenine (3-MA) and chloroquine (CLQ) inhibited autophagy in the lung and attenuated GO-induced lung injury, as demonstrated by a reduced lung wet-to-dry weight ratio, lower levels of protein in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid, and a reduced lung injury score."

Maybe this is one of the studies HC is watching/quoting? What is happening is a flood of studies appear to be being done because no one bothered to check lungs because masks weren't the issue? So maybe a Rat can eat a GO cheeseburger, but not inhale it!
So it raises the alarm, are low doses over long periods of time the same as a high does over a short period of time? Can a mask wearer "accumulate" GO in the lungs.
Suddenly HC has a problem, and no threats of lawsuits, etc will change that. This study was completed a month ago but perhaps published 2 weeks ago? Perhaps its studies like this that keyed HC to listen to the single concerned citizen?
This is the point that the ZEN board will now flip back to were "Graphene" and quote Graphene is safe.. lol

So GO is not safe unless it can be determined that GO is not accumulative in the lungs. Sounds like an HC Human ordered trial to me....

Health Canada advises Canadians not to use face masks containing graphene because there is a potential health risk

Health Canada says there is currently research to suggest early lung toxicity in animals

Does this sound like you are going to get an apology Steakhouse or a ordered up Human trial?
