No, the Nuclear Grade Natural Graphite is already CRM and has been tested.
The situation we got ourselves in with LGC is its toooo pure. Thats the truth
The test equipment that is used in Universities, schools, labs etc etc is not sensitive enough to detect the reference material as anything else but 100% pure. Nuclear facilities have better test equipment and can identify the CRM as 99,9998%
LGC is not selling to Nuclear facilities. So we dumbed down the CRM we had
How you dumb down is add a constant inert contaminant. So lets say its salt lol
We take our CRM at 99.9998% and add a pinch of salt. That pinch takes it to 99.999%
But it is now a contaminated CRM so you create a NEW CRM designation for CRM+Pinch

We produced 2 samples for LGC (I think 2, could be more) based on what they wanted for purity for various clients. So lets say 99.999%, 99.995% and 99.990%

Those are then sent to the 10 lab system we already participated in to get CRM designation. They retest and if all 10 come in at the above numbers +/- an acceptable variant, then those 3 samples become CRMs

We are waiting for the 10 lab report from LGC. It is a formality at this point because the contaminant added is known and its affect on purity known and the resultant purity is known because it was based on a known.................Our CRM
