The ethics and legalities of vaccine passports are very questionable. They would make de facto mandatory for people to take a vaccine that isn’t even approved for use - just authorized for emergency use, with all the risks squarely on the recipient.

Besides, even if it were legal, it’s unnecessary. Between hundreds of millions having had the infection - and many millions more vaccinated — we are on the verge of herd immunity anyway, without forcing anyone to do anything.

About the mask use while in the bowels of the air travel system — it WAS uncomfortable to have to pump air for hours around that silly thing. After a couple of hours, it felt like breathing through a snorkel. (I didn’t even attempt keeping the seal, to the contrary, tried to make it as leaky as possible... just like everyone else around me). And it did hurt behind the ears.
