<habitual negative PR about ASND coming out of CSCO>

I also believe this is the case. I am not aware of CSCO's sales tactics, but I would bet that this "negative PR" about ASND extends over into the Sales Department. It's an old tactic; publish some "facts" about the competition, ("in house"), then use them to back up your own sales pitch. Once a sales person has some "facts" to give the client, there's "no need to gather more information, let's go ahead and sign the contract". I'm simplifying it, but I know that once you make the sale, it's pretty hard for the new client to go somewhere else. The bottom line has to be: Who makes the stuff that will best solve your problem? Just because you have the best stuff, it doesn't mean you can sell it. Many times, sales is the name of the game.

(And I like this new "preview" feature!) pete
