Time Division Multiplexing, which is just about the same thing as TDMA. Channelized based on 64 Kbps per voice grade circuit, T-1 architecture. Ancient stuff. NN has been transitioning into Frame Relay and ATM, plus attempting to get into more data networking. They were real big with Mainstreet Muxes that would allow you to fractionalize a T-1 and channelize using ADPCM. Alas, the world has enough parking lots, lacks high speed freeways. Still these guys are capable of product that is robust and functional. Plenty of competition from the big boys. Feel they are an acquisition target for someone like NT (both are Canadian). Sold my shares sometime ago, after owning them for a couple years. I personally have used their product with no complaints. I wait for this to settle down before jumping back in. Sprint numbers are good and expect that this year they will explode. Realize that they were building their systems throughout last year (still are). NOw you will see strategic deals being done for roaming and the such. Really haven't looked at the numbers yet. PS. What the hell, SI has spell checking now!!!!
