In the past when I've gone Dram shopping, I've found the answers to your questions on the computer manufacturer's site or on the site of the manufacturer I'm purchasing from. Have you tried those places? Might even try a google search. Maybe someone here can tell you if you can ignore those recommendations. Good luck.
