Dee,
I'm not exactly clear on this but any cash expenditure during the quarter, regardless of whether it's a capitalized expence, affects income and bottom line for the quarter. Depreciation is spread out over a determined number of months. Its outlay can be allocated to only one quarter, and and increase in assets would be in order.

On the quote system "Fexquote", when asked how? they say its a proprietary system. A closely guarded secret. Not to forget, this is "near real time", sometimes within seconds of my broker's screens, a minute or two on very active stocks. Canadian markets, and soon Mexico and UK are available for the same $ 9.95. The most impressive feature is a totally software driven technical analysis by a program called "Neuropro". This feature appears on the page of "historical Quotes", a 10 day glimpse of activity on any stock tracked by them. About 4,000 securities I think. This SNCG is briliiant. Unsurpassed screen, great investment opportunity!
