A tennent of financial analysis is that you be conservative. I think it is reasonable to assume that the number is less than 12K each. Your suggestion of the average BB holding of 5K or 8K has merit. Ifthe number is too low well then everybody is better off. If it is too high (as I suspect 12K is) then stockholders are harmed. Why not play it safe and use a 5Kish number it is easier to support.

A factor not said is that it is likely that some of the known holders have more than one account and are in fact some of the unknown holders. Also people that are not active likely have a reason they have less. I think an average of 3-4K is more reasonable and even with numbers this low a squeeze can exist (albiet a smaller one).
