Hi FUBHO,

I voted absentee for the last 2 elections.

I have two homes, one in Texas my residence and one in Wisconsin, where I grew up.

November falls in my deer hunting season and I vote absentee because I know I will not be in Texas.

It requires my ID and past voter registration. It requires my signature which is checked.

Texas has a website that confirms the date my absentee vote is received and it also says when my vote has been recorded - usually one day later including sundays.

It does not disclose how I voted.

Absentee voting has been going on a long time and when done right it is solid.

Before I learned how to absentee vote, I bought a round trip ticket to return to Texas and vote.

I have never missed a presidential vote since I was 18.

One of them was pricey. <smile>

It can be done correctly.

They can not be massively, anonymously printed and distributed and received without ID.

They can not be harvested.

It should take a legit effort to be recorded, it is a privilege and a responsibility to vote.

Not too difficult for all to understand, except for those cheaters with nefarious intentions.

I like the video idea!

Bob
