During periods of market price rise we seem to become accustomed to it and lose sight of rational investment fundamentals. That can lead to complacency for investors. Thanks to Robert Lichello we have the AIM method that tempers our enthusiasm during such times and has us build our "insurance policy" for future events.

Investment haiku:
The long period
of above average stock risk
says caution is wise.

Cumulative risk is calculated by taking the weekly difference between the current risk level and the median level and adding or subtracting it from the previous week's tally. A positive slope indicates above median risk over extended periods of time. Such has been the case since the Covid-19 episode.

This most recent period has offered us a wonderful time to 'sell into strength' after last year's short, but deep buy cycle due to the Coronavirus event.

Best wishes,
OAG
