The nagging question is why are fossil fuel companies, and OPEC countries investing heavily in green hydrogen if it isn't thought that it will become economically feasible. If the cost of global warming (droughts in bread baskets of the world for one) is added to the cost of fossil fuel, economics become favorable for green Hydrogen production. I realize at present it isn't but, Its kind of like the the first powered airplane flight, at the time many said the contraption can't fly, after it did then it was an extraordinary difficult uphill fight to sell it to the US military, it was thought of as an expensive toy only for the richest. I keep reminding myself that my mother in her life time at six years old traveled across the Great Plains from Pennsylvania to Montana on a steam powered train, she lived to fly over her house in a 727, and watched men land on the moon form the comfort of her home. Catching the new wave is where the easiest money is made. marketwatch.com
