How you can think GOP lies more or less than DEMS is amusing to me... Then, you're not paying attention... From 2008, both the left and the right recognized "a problem"... And in result we got the Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street... Occupy failed to make itself relevant... FOR A REASON... The Tea Party did not fail... but energized the VOTERS to impose change... not by "voting for whoever the party puts up"... but by CHANGING who the party puts up... It's why Trump happened... because he won votes from both sides... for NOT being "the same old"... What is amusing... is people on the left advocating that the solution to the problem of "the same old"... is MORE of "the same old"... only more so... Call for change... as a tactic... and then refuse to allow change... as a strategy... is not fooling anyone.
