Earnings release overnight tonight.

The conference call starts at 16:30 KST which is 2:30 am CST. HERE is the LINK to the Conference Call.

The run-up to earnings continued through trading today in Korea where they touched a new 52 week high.

I honestly don't expect this conference call to be too interesting. It will certainly be full of good news about pricing and fab utilization rates. It will certainly not give any answers about whether Samsung has contracted to buy OLED panels.

Generally, commentary on CapEx tends to come out around the time of the Q2 earnings release in July. I am hopeful that they may comment on the timing of the additional 30K sheets of OLED capacity that has been previously announced, but even that is likely to be non-committal.

These calls are a pretty hard listen because of all the translating. There is typical evasiveness as to specifics in the name of "maintaining flexibility." I probably won't listen live unless insomnia kicks in.

I have not really looked at post-call stock price reaction, but this run-up has been unprecedented so I am slightly hopeful for a buying opportunity at the previously noted support levels. I can't imagine another candlestick up after all of this run, but I am positioned to take advantage if that does come to fruition.
