The way I see it the American economy is due to be hit with severe inflation in the not too distant future. It will undoubtedly affect many sectors as the value of the dollar will depreciate and the costs of goods will go up as more "printed" dollars are chasing the same goods.

A country cannot spend TRILLIONS (not Billions) of dollars, that it doesn't actually have, without there being severe repercussions. Things may look good in the immediate future as the recent Covid relief "Cash" pumped in now gets spent by the population returning back to some degree of "Normality".

However, there's the distinct likelihood of taxes going UP plus the possibility of a relatively high Capital Gains Tax which would affect investors as they will be taxed twice, once when they paid tax on whatever monies they earned and thereafter used to invest with, and secondly should they sell their investment.
Short term traders will be hit the hardest .....
