Gee Stitch. FYI? (lol)

You advise that "FYI, most people here associate Dr. Mahatir's words with a prolongation and extension of the problems here, especially the decline of the K.L.S.E." A remedial reading of the message to which you refer will reveal that I only stated as much.

And, Dr. M. may have reduced the rhetoric but he ceratainly hasn't quit. A man in his early 70's, he maintains an itinerary that would exhaust anyone half his age. I believe he just returned from the Philippines where he attempted to garner support for a commerce agreement similar to the Jakarta proposal.

Now, if Dr. M. and Mr. Ibrahim could just remain in the same room together long enough they might be able to find an innovative solution to their current budgetary concerns.

And, yes, I'm well aware of what possibilities lie ahead for the region's markets. But those who took advantage of the recent sub-US$1.00 opportunities on the KLSE are finding it difficult to subdue a bit of enthusiasm. <g>
