Birth of a Nation, baby! Here's a clip from the renamed DW Griffith movie ( formerly The Klansman ), the first full length motion picture made here. In it, you see the heroic Christian knights of the KKK, attack a group of darkies and darkie-sympathizers, who have apparently kidnapped and tied up a virtuous white woman! The valiant knights get driven back at first, but come back and save the day! Then, they continue saving white people threatened by an army of darkies! It ends with the klan preventing the darkies from voting! Huzzah!:
