Check out Intel's pricing of the P6 with internal cache vs. P6 w/o internal cache and with the same amount of external L2. Something like 1700 vs. 960. The die size for the combo is huge and results in much fewer CPU's/silicon yield. Which purchase option would you choose of the two above? Let's talk.
