Eric,

You have created an excellent web site for Apple, and investors,
speculators, as well as users.

What the shorts volume tell us is:

- Almost no change in such volume indicates those who shorted didn't
care much about Q1 report. They still believe their views about
Apple;

The only way to make short squeeze out are as follows:
Short term:
- Bought out or merged with company, such as IBM;
- CEO announcement and an appropriate CEO is selected;
Long term:
- Continue to show its significant profits and revenues;

Regarding CEO issue as far as my concerns, Jobs may take the
position if he wants to pay back for what Apple bought NeXT, but I
think it is not the major issue. For Apple's survival and existing
forever, probably and unfortunately it has to be bought by the company
like IBM. The trend is similar to Dec, and Tandem's.
