That cuts both both ways as some have overreacted and some have under reacted to the pandemic risks and the related vaccine risks and few seem to be reacting with an appropriate, targeted risk based response.

From Forbes:

"For seniors age 70 and older, getting Covid-19 is riskier than climbing Mt. Everest; in contrast, for those under age 20, the infection fatality risk is equivalent to driving a car for 7,500 miles."

"Those under age 50 who get infected with the coronavirus lose less than one day of discounted quality-adjusted life expectancy; seniors age 70 or older lose nearly 90 days."

If you died during the high covid risk period and you are in any age group over 50 there was about 10% chance that your cause of death was from covid and about a 90% chance that it was from some other cause....currently it would be much lower.
