If anything Bitcoin is Google and not Yahoo.

For Bitcoin to be replaced some kind of breakthrough in physics would be necessary. Achieving decentralized global consensus is extremely difficult and was an open research topic for decades (the Byzantine Generals problem). Until then Bitcoin will remain the dominant digital money.
