For Bitcoin to be replaced some kind of breakthrough in physics would be necessary.

Hardly.

If Dogecoin eventually gets a higher market cap than Bitcoin, wouldn’t that prove that while Blockchain is interesting and it’s excellent beautiful computer code, it’s not in and of itself worth anything?

As blockchain coding becomes easier and easier to use, and chain interoperability becomes more and more common, and more easy, and you know, the technology advances so any crypto can interact with and trade with any other crypto.......why is Bitcoin superior to Dogecoin?

It’s not.

And when people realize that, why again is Bitcoin more valuable than any other crypto? It’s not. In fact, it’s less valuable because it’s 80% mined, and that incentivizes all future generations that own zero Bitcoin to use something other than Bitcoin.
