Jim,

This is in response to your inquiry on the BNGO thread. I play golf and have seen Cutter & Buck apparel in some pro shops in Texas. I think they mainly cater to "upscale" clubs and resorts. This was Barton Creek in Austin, TX. (where they used to play the "Legends" if you are familiar). At the time (July '97, I was a shareholder of CBUK and was doing some research of my own. I looked at the merchandise in the pro shops and talked to sales personnel. Everybody I talked to said the stuff had been selling really strong. One of the pro shops said it was their top selling line, over Ralph Lauren, Tommy and all the top names. The merchandise is really sharp, too. Shirts seem to be of the highest quality. I ended up buying a hat just to show my support. I am presently not a shareholder, but check it out from time to time. Still looks like a strong issue. Last time I did some research, seemed liked they were really experiencing some nice growth. Hopes this helps.

Curtis H.
