I was 12 when I started HS .. Grade 8.. Loyola College HS.. on the university campus.. I despite really being the generation after the early 60s was blessed to be part of it from that fact.. I am a mid boomer .. but my HS experience on university campus made me in many ways an early boomer.. a true blessing !!! We hung out at the proscribed by our mostly Jesuit teachers the 'college caf'.. learned of steamboats :)
