Bill Jackson, So far Intel attempted to price AMD out of the market. Thy dropped the price on the Pentium II to a point today that they thought they would not have to sell at untill 1999. Even though Intel took this action AMD is reported to have picked up some market share. Intel efforts to strangle AMD won't work and it's costing Intel shareholders billions inlost market capitalization. Now the intellafellons continue to point out how unfair Sanders/AMD has been to it's share holders. They just don't see what Intel is doing to them. Blind as bats! Down the road look for cash infusions for AMD to come from CPQ. It's the only way Peiffer can get any leverage on Intel and it's the cheapest option available.
