Look at the things Manchin is doing. Anyone who thinks Manchin wants a constitutional amendment on statehood, I have bridge to sell you. Manchin is doing that to stop it, by burying it, which is exactly what the Republicans want. Manchin stands in the way of getting rid of the filibuster that the democrats need. Once again what the Republicans want. He is against raising the minimum wage to $15 and leans more toward McConnell's $10 or $11, and he wants to split Biden's infrastructure bill into two parts like the Republicans want, which would be a death knell to the social aspects of the bill, as Senator Durbin has pointed out. Why does he stand in the way of so many of Biden's and the Democrats plans? He is in effect, aiding and abetting the Republicans at every turn. That is why I say, "what is he doing"??
