Pal is very sharp, but there is one thing that should concern all yield chasers/investors in defi: fraud. In his enthusiasm, he glosses over it.

This is the Wild West of finance. And it is essentially unregulated.

The potential and therefore the reality of bad apples coming onboard is enormous. A given that some crooks are working the angles.

Ethereum, however, simply facilitates the transaction, passing no judgment on it. I don’t think it could be held legally liable. And, even if liable, how does one enforce a money judgment?

Fascinating from a legal standpoint.
