Mark, I know what you mean. MACR is one short term stock, patience certainly hasn't been rewarding. It's historic low is 1.8 times book and it's currently trading at 2.7 times book. Most companies with this recent performance would probably dipped below book IMO. What a waste of technology, the public will only pay so much for software. Market share and mindshare come from getting the product out there. Better to make less money on a higher volume while building marketshare IMO. I still think there's room on the downside on this although I wouldn't short it. Any comments about value on a takeover? I don't think a buyer would want to offer 2.7 times book (about $9 /share) let alone a premium to that. I still think they need to price Windows products in the range Windows product purchasers are used to. Certainly their performance lately has to have them questioning their strategy?

Pros & Cons discussion welcome,

regards,
Tom
