SFChronicle - Police arrest man in 'disgusting and horrific' stabbing of two Asian women in San Francisco
FYI, this attack occurred on 4th and Market Street in San Francisco, which is a very busy thoroughfare with shops and 4-star hotels all around the area. Traffic is pretty heavy through that intersection, and there are many, many pedestrians who cross it every day.
The attack, of course, happened in broad daylight in the middle of the day where there are tons of people around. Both victims, who were elderly Asian women, had to be taken to the hospital for surgery, but both will thankfully make a full recovery. (By the way, one of the women even had the knife still in her arm when paramedics arrived.)

There was no motive discovered for the stabbing. No words, no stolen items were reported. A witness said that the perp went up to the two women, stabbed them, then casually walked away. My guess is that this is another mentally disturbed asshole.
So why do I say, "Brought to you by BLM"?
Because I got confirmation of it from some SJW on Facebook who defended the policies of San Francisco DA Chesa Boudin:
This whole conversation is anti-Black, dangerous, completely untrue, and not any discourse that will stop community violence. What a disturbing response in this thread. ... I would much rather be in support of the Asian community through such violent times and patterns. Please do not create narratives that push me into defending against anti-blackness. Maybe I will just hop off this page so as not to derail. But I'm appalled. By the violence happening in my community and all over the nation, and by the responses that want to maintain that violence. It is important to note that I NEVER brought up the race of the perp in the thread she is talking about. Instead, the topic was about DA Chesa Boudin and his stupid ass "soft on crime" policies.
Here is my response to this SJW. Once again, I don't mention race at all. Instead, I only point out how violent crime has soared under the DA's watch:
Sorry, but I disagree. Chesa Boudin has made San Francisco a lot less safe with his refusal to prosecute violent criminals. Robberies and random beatings are now happening in broad daylight with smartphones and cameras all over the place, so you know the perps don't fear getting caught. ... Dion Lim herself has confronted the DA's office on multiple occasions regarding perps who have been through the revolving door of Chesa Boudin's "restorative justice" policies only to commit more crimes. And every time, the DA's spokesholes give nothing but platitudes and evasive answers. There literally is no part of San Francisco that is safer as a result of his tenure. Seems like a fair, non-racial answer to the SJW's comment, right?
But here is where it gets good. This is the SJW's response in its entirety:
random beatings are happening at the nexus of white supremacist stereotypes about Asians AND a global pandemic with a whitesupremacist agenda to leave communities starving, under resourced and with out. Again you can disagree, but you're not just disagreeing with Chesa Boudin, you're disagreeing with Black anti-capitalist activism. Activism rooted in stopping systemic violence which in America expresses itself as violence towards Asians. Boudin's politics are fighting the carceral system. The same system that maintains violence towards community violence. Again, he's in line with BLM demands. You're not just disagreeing with him. People of color are in a movement to stop violence for us all and we have to be committed to that. I will certainly continue being active and informed as much as I can about the Asian community because this type of violence can not continue. I will continue to study how violence impacts our communities along intersections. My heart is certainly with you all. I'm so srry this is happening. Do you see that? The SJW confirmed that Chesa Boudin is doing EXACTLY what the Black Lives Matter movement wants him to do.
And this is arguably leading to more violent crimes. And I can't emphasize this enough, but said crimes are happening now in BROAD DAYLIGHT with TONS OF WITNESSES and LOTS OF CAMERAS around. There is literally ZERO deterrence to violent crime. Even those who have "mental health issues" can be deterred from attacking others, if you still consider them human.
No amount of anti-violence rallies are going to fix this. The perps really don't care. The people who need to pay attention are those in law enforcement, but they too don't care because, as the SJW just confirmed, they are pursuing a stupid ass utopian agenda.
The only way to fix this is (a) arm the victims (firearm, pepper spray, whatever), (b) form volunteer patrols, and (c) VOTE OUT THESE POLITICIANS.
Because clearly "defunding the police" and "restorative justice" is an abject failure, and has been for years.
