If Informix and Sybase have products that are just as good, then REDB is in trouble. I do not have enough specific knowledge to refute this claim. REDB had always claimed (in laymans terms) an advantage in query speed and information loading. They now say they are expanding their applications to build an additional advantage in solutions (i.e. analysis tools bundled with the database).

If you don't mind, I would like to see data or articles comparing REDB's system with that of its competitors. Also, do you have any knowledge of their new version's capabilities? I would like to see that as well.
