I am skeptical of Google's ability to succeed outside search(they purchased Android). I have taken dozens of courses from people that work at Google, through many learning platforms. They don't seem to hire the best and brightest lately, but only those that check unusual boxes. There are probably some top tier minds still there, but I would guess many are gone to start their own more merit based companies.

I have lost interest. How is Waymo doing? Seems like a failure based on lack of press...
