No Canadian companies cannot make direct political contributions.. I acknowledge that it can be somewhat skirted.. but is its definitely less.. Then again our PM let SNC skate.. so as I said .. we too are not without sin... were he a Conservative he would have been crucified... but Liberal supporters will never admit that.. There remain solitudes in Canada .. but not just Two Solitudes anymore ... Canadian minister of Defense has been caught lying about misconduct possibly (LIKELY ya think) sexual .. of high ranking officer(s) but he too will skate... the flip side is that the opposition is too fragmented or utterly useless and dumb in the case of the Conservatives.. the traditional other power...) .. That is not a comment on current Conservatives in general BTW.. just the current Canadian national party... I could not even imagine voting for them... Doug Ford in Ontario not helping the image LOL Bottom line is most Canadians lean Lib... the extremism seen from Tea Party in the US makes them lean more left.. that is fact.. Makes me lean more left too.. in fact my next fed vote goes once again to the NDP.. I think the Federal Libs are dishonest to the extreme.. and the Federal Conservative party in Canada is just plain stupid.. I have voted for all three federally in the past... Ontario Libs and Cons seem to mirror the Feds LOL) LOL but makes me sad..
