I will agree that there appears to a be a global issue, right now, with politicans of all stripes and in all place trending toward success in winning a race to the bottom in terms of quality... Anyone with sense enough to be right about policy... also has sense enough to avoid the shit show that politics has become... in the age of corporato-kleptocaracy. As in the past... the only path forward enabling future success... appears to be the accelerated path to failure the world is careening along toward now... as absolute failure appears to be the increasingly necessary condition precedent to enable real change... Yeah. The Tea Party partisans railing that we should maintain rational social policies, foster free market functions instead of national socialism... and sustain a balanced budget... that's the existential risk you should worry about...
