Re NFS: For what it's worth, the biggies (like Sun) have been in NFS for a while. A Unix sysadmin relative just confirmed over the weekend that Sun's product (PC NFS) is horrible. There is absolutely no incentive for the Unix companies to produce a good NFS product. The good news is that Symantec, Microsoft, etc. have steered clear of this market. MS could kill HUM by embedding NFS into Win 95 or NT. Their inclusion of TCP/IP and ftp in Win 95 did a lot to kill FTP SOftware. However I think this is an unlikely scenario: they have little to gain by putting resources onto connectivity software at this level of complexity.

Data warehousing is a big question mark: it's a very fragmented market right now, and perhaps HUM can leverage their existing customer base t o sell Andyne's products (which I know nothing about)
