Regarding the St Pierre family maple farm and expropriation at the Canada Carbon Miller project:

A study done by a forestry engineer has been given to CPTAQ.

David Armstrong from TerraBois, the forestry engineer hired by CCB, has recognized the value of that maple farm in front of the CPTAQ during public hearings (listen to CPTAQ public hearings the morning of March 31st).

Christiane Ouellet, a specialist hired by CCB has submitted a new project layout at CPTAQs request on April 1st, in the early afternoon. The new plan clearly shows the maple farm.

CPTAQ confirmed that a maple farm is driven by the number of maple trees regardless if they are tapped or not.

An untapped maple farm has the greatest potential. 100% of the resource is available

On the morning of April 1st, CPTAQ commissioner Petit requested CCB remove the St. Pierre maple farm from the Miller project. CCB refused.
